Allowing time in stillness to start this class we will begin with a grounding mediation. We will explore yin poses and slow flow to move seamlessly between stillness and mindful movement, back and forth. Gently allowing our body and mind to release and make space. The class is focused on your wellbeing and giving you some time out of your day to just be.
This is a fundraising event for Mental Health Awareness week and is to raise money for Leeds Mind Charity. This is a donation-based class, all proceeds going to Leeds Mind. Leeds Mind is an amazing charity that have so many brilliant projects running in Leeds to help people in relation to their mental health. Fundraising has been impacted greatly over the last year due to coronavirus, as has our mental health. We need charities like this now more than ever. This class not only has the benefits of helping this fantastic charity but also you gain the benefits that yoga has for your own mental wellbeing.
This class is suitable for everyone, those new to yoga and experienced yogis.
