This class is aimed at people who have perhaps been injured felt burnt out or out of sorts for some time and are feeling like they need some extra care to get them back to themselves. It is mobility and self-massage for sore necks and hips, bringing movement back into the body.
Emily is a skilled Pilates teacher and massage therapist. Her caring style reflects many years of experience working with the body in movement, massage and aromatherapy. Her guided meditations and self-massage routines really connect you back to your body and her specialist movement expertise can bring life and ease back into stiff joints and muscles.

Why try Pilates?
Pilates works on improving the quality of movements so that you move more naturally and efficiently. Not only will this help you avoid injury but may improve your sports performance.
It focuses on the core muscles (the muscles around the abdomen and spine) which support the body. If you have back problems, spend hours in front of the laptop or sitting on a chair Pilates is what you need! It may also improve your breathing.
Also a fantastic class if you are postnatal and wanting to strengthen your tummy muscles and fabulous for toning!
Our Pilates classes are mat based, using fit balls, balloons and elastic bands. You will have fun whilst also working hard to build the protection your body needs for life!
If practiced with consistency, Pilates improves flexibility, builds strength and develops control and endurance in the entire body. It puts emphasis on alignment, breathing, developing a strong core, and improving coordination and balance.
This class is also held on ZOOM for those who can’t make the class in the studio.
