A Practical and Supportive Learning Experience
Throughout the training, you’ll explore the physical, emotional and physiological changes that occur during pregnancy, developing a deeper understanding of how these changes can influence movement, energy levels, balance, breath and overall wellbeing. Alongside this knowledge, you’ll learn practical teaching methods that enable you to confidently and safely adapt yoga for every stage of the prenatal journey.
You’ll explore how to offer appropriate variations, create thoughtful sequences and respond to the individual needs of each student rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Particular attention will be given to safety, contraindications, trimester-specific considerations and creating an inclusive environment where pregnant students feel supported, empowered and listened to.
The course is both educational and experiential. You’ll embody the practices yourself, explore the effects of different movements and breathing techniques, and gain valuable hands-on teaching experience.
