What is reiki?
Reiki is an ancient form of healing, which uses universal life force energy “ki” to help to improve people’s mind, mood, energy and ailments. As we are all made of energy, our body and minds interact with this energy channelling in a positive way. The term comes from two Japanese words: “Rei,” which means universal, and “ki,” which loosely translates to a lifeforce of energy. Reiki is about channelling this energy for the benefit of yourself or another.
What is Angelic Reiki?
Angelic reiki works with higher vibrational Angelic beings to channel the healing energy through the practitioner. This means that this form of energy work is very powerful, yet gentle. I find that the energy from Angelic Reiki is so utterly beautiful and joyous; it’s like channelling love. I have found it personally to be a very effective and wonderful form of energy healing to both give and receive, and have used it to heal my physical, mental and spiritual self many times.
What you will learn on your Angelic Reiki 1 & 2 Practitioner Level Workshop:
This workshop imparts the unique system of healing that is Angelic Reiki and is taught over two and a half days. Students are Attuned to 1st and 2nd Degree Angelic Reiki and a number of treatment methods are taught. You will gain ‘hands on’ experience learn how to use the healing tools for the benefit of yourself and others.

Benefits of reiki (for those of you who like some scientific back up)
There are many benefits to reiki, including promoting feelings of wellness, relaxation and peace. In my own journey to Angelic reiki, I found that that it supported me during times of stress and feeling that I had no energy and joy for life. It even got rid of my sciatic pain caused by a slipped disc! But it’s not just about my experience, here’s a few studies:
According to the Cleveland Clinic (an academic medical centre in the USA) Reiki has been studied for conditions like pain, anxiety, and depression. They found that reiki promotes relaxation, stress reduction, symptom relief and can improve overall health and wellbeing.
A study by Billiot et al (2019) and reviewed in the British Medical Journal found that “that Reiki therapy is useful for relieving pain, decreasing anxiety/depression and improving quality of life in several conditions”.
In an article in June 2021, Forbes Health reviewed a number of academic studies and found that reiki promotes relaxation, boosts mood and sleep, improve anxiety and depression and can even help with conditions such as pain and nausea.
Perhaps Dr David Hamilton said it best in his chapter on Reiki in the book “Why Woo Woo Works” when he said: “there are a growing number of scientific studies that show it can be very effective. Several have demonstrated that reiki reduces pain, anxiety, depression, and even blood pressure in patients suffering from a range of medical conditions or who have experienced various interventions – including cancer, knee replacement, hysterectomy, hemodialysis, back pain, and many others.”
Angelic Reiki is recognised by the British Complementary Medicine Association, and through this training, you will become a member of the Angelic Reiki Association.

During the course, you will have the opportunity to give and receive Angelic Reiki. You will learn distant healing, seated and laid down healing. You will gain an understanding of signs and symbols in Angelic Reiki. You will gain knowledge and insight of how to work with clients safely.
If you wish to go on to practise, there will be assessment in the form of case studies, to ensure that you can practise safely and with confidence.
All students will receive a Master Crystal to work with.
