Introduction to Yin & Restorative
Yin & Restorative is a deeply soothing and nourishing Sunday afternoon practice, offering the perfect way to slow down and gently close the weekend. Taught by Gerry, this class creates a quiet, supportive space to soften the body, calm the mind and prepare for the week ahead.
It’s a practice rooted in rest, release and self-care.
What to Expect
The class blends the deep, connective tissue focus of Yin Yoga with the comforting, fully supported postures of Restorative Yoga. Yin poses are held for longer periods to gently activate connective tissues and encourage change at a deep level in both body and mind.
Restorative postures follow, using props and gravity to support complete relaxation. Muscles remain relaxed throughout, with breath and stillness guiding you into a deeper sense of ease.

Gerry holds a calm, attentive space throughout the session, gently guiding you through both the physical and emotional shifts that can arise. The practice encourages presence, openness and compassion — inviting you to truly let go.
